The harmonic coexistence of water, planting and the urban landscape is the main idea of Fluo & Victoria Lytra ‘s proposal for the public square of Plateia Eleytherias. An open urban green square that will link its adjacent areas, that face yield strain and upgrade them, can play a catalytic role in the trasformation of the whole region into a vibrant living organism. A dense linear order of the three elements in row creates a mosaic of activities accessible to everybody. The proposal aspires the creation of an area that would attract urban happenings and at the same time personal and collective behaviors and thus highlighting the multidimensional character of the city.
