VIC•Transformation of an industrial space to a loft

This specific project is about the conversion of an industrial space to an open-plan loft that will house a family of six. Primary materials, such as metal, glass, raw cement in the building frame and the colored micro cement on the floor, prevail. The existing glass dome is a point of reference around of which all functions are spread. The uniform minimalistic floor unifies the diverse uses of the open-space and is interrupted only in the rooms, separating the private from the public. The wood, as a warmer material, creates an essential sense of intimacy and coziness for the house.
